Before the wedding the fun started off just up the road where the girls had a very large bridal suite, this was a great space for all the detail shots of her dress from The Bride in Ybor and flowers from Couture Wedding and More. As well as photos of the bride getting her hair and makeup done by Carrie at Bella Bombshells.
While I captured everything with the bridal prep, Jonathan headed over and met up with the groom and his wedding party at their air B&B. He grabbed a few shots of them getting ready and popping champagne but saved the portraits for back at the barn.
Right before the ceremony started a large dark cloud moved in and it rained (good luck, right?) but it moved away, and the sun came back out within 30 minutes and the ceremony went exactly as planned. The good luck part about this rain is that it pushed cocktail hour photos back and the sun at this time was just gorgeous the way it shown down through the trees!
The reception was inside the Barn. Where it is beautifully decorated with chandeliers and drapery across the ceiling, it is much more shabby chic than rustic. Their DJ from Fast break entertainment kept the party going and people dancing all night! Dinner was deliciously provided by Olympia.
After lots of dancing and after cutting and smashing their cake from Hands on Sweets, I snuck Amanda and DJ out for a bit to take some photos at night. The rest of the night was full of smiles, laughs and a few hand rolled cigars.
Congratulations Amanda & DJ, we wish you nothing but the best for your future! Please enjoy this preview of your amazing wedding day!
]]>Both Jenn and Chris got ready at the venue, which made it very easy for my team, second photographer Courtney and Videographer Jonathan to bounce back and forth between the couple as needed. Jenn had her makeup and hair done by Kristy’s artistry Design Team. While they put the finishing touches on Jenn we took a few moments to grab detail photos and video of her dress from David’s Bridal.
As the girls got ready, we went and met up with the guys, it was a fun group and I’m so glad they were up for posing in the canoe. Once we captured some great shots of the guys, we put them away and headed back over to the bridal area. Jenn was ready to go, so she put on her dress and we caught some great candid photos of her Mom helping her zip up her dress. Once she took a second to take it all in, we grabbed her flowers from Orlando Flower Market and headed outside for some bridal portraits.
The ceremony was beautiful, blue skies and a light breeze. When you’re getting married on a beach the best entrance is obviously from a speed boat. The ceremony was officiated by Rev Roxy from New York, she’s awesome definitely check her out. They said their I do’s and had their first kiss as husband and wife while all their guests cheered. While the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour we took family photos followed by some fun wedding party group shots and then it was on to the new couple. We took full advantage of the perfect golden hour sun to create some gorgeous wedding photos. After a ton of beautiful photos they were introduced and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife. White Rose Entertainment kept the party going and people dancing all night! Dinner was deliciously provided by Millenia Catering.
After lots of dancing and cutting their cake from Tasty Too, I snuck the couple out for a few photos under the night sky. The rest of the night was full of smiles, laughs, a lot of dancing and a grand sparkler exit. Congratulations Jennifer and Chris, we wish you nothing but the best for your future! Please enjoy this preview of your amazing wedding day!
]]>Before the girls arrived at the venue Amanda had her makeup and hair done by Juliana Makeup and Hair Design. As soon as they arrived to the venue we used that opportunity before anyone else arrived to hang her dress, from David’s Bridal, in the rotunda and grab some detail photos, like her Kate Spade Keds.
As Amanda got dressed the guys arrived and we wasted no time in setting up a first look for the couple. Before they turned around and saw each other for the first time they read each other’s vow’s, it was a beautiful moment that I’m glad we were able to capture for the couple. From here my second photographer Laurie and I took portraits of the couple using all the great spots the Event Center has to offer. We also had enough time to get portraits of the bridal parties before the ceremony started. All the flowers were made from wood by Hey Bouquet!
For the ceremony the couple elected to keep the curtains closed, while there is no right or wrong answer, I love this choice because I think it creates a more intimate setting and really focuses attention on the couple. They said their I do’s and had their first kiss as husband and wife while all their guests cheered. The cocktail hour took place in the front hall of the venue next to the large ballroom. While the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour we took the new couple around to even more spots for portraits, an advantage of a first look, more epic wedding photos. After that they were introduced and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife. Soundwave Entertainment kept the party going and people dancing all night! Dinner was deliciously provided by Magic Occasions.
After lots of dancing and cutting their cake from Publix, I snuck the couple out for one last Posed-candid photo in the rotunda that they loved. The rest of the night was full of smiles, laughs, a lot of dancing and a grand sparkler exit. Congratulations Amanda and John, we wish you nothing but the best for your future! Please enjoy this preview of your amazing wedding day!
]]>Steve and Kate's romantic nature and elegance fit this venue perfectly. The long staircases, large stain glass windows and chandeliers in the hallways all fit perfectly with this couple to create some stunning photos. Is it just me or does Kate look a bit like Rose from the Titanic?
Before the wedding, the fun started off at The Grand Bohemian Downtown where Kate had her hair and makeup done by Jacyann Smith. While we were there we grabbed some detail photos and some fun portraits of her and the bridal party.
Shortly after this, we all headed over to the Ballroom at Church Street where Jonathan and I met up with the guys. First photo up with the guys was to get Stephen, looking great in his Men’s Wearhouse suit, with his ride for the night, then Jonathan followed them over to a local bar for some fun groomsmen photos. I stayed with the girls and grabbed photos of Kate's stunning dress and shoes from One and Only Bridal and Badgley Mischka. Flowers by Lesley added the final complement to Kate’s wedding day. We used the time before any guests arrived to capture some beautiful portraits of the bride and her bridal party.
The ceremony was set up with the couple on the staircase framed by one of the gorgeous stained-glass windows. They said their "I do’s" and had their first kiss as husband and wife while all of their guests cheered. The reception was upstairs in the large ballroom. While the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour we took the new couple around to some of our favorite locations at the Church Street Ballroom. After they were introduced and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife, Our DJ Rocks kept the party going and getting guests dancing all night! Dinner was deliciously provided by Puff and Stuff.
After lots of dancing and cutting their cake from Sugar Suger Cake Boutique, I snuck Kate and Stephen out for a bit to take some photos on the bridge over Church Street. The rest of the night was full of smiles, laughs, a lot of dancing and a grand sparkler exit to that fancy ride Stephen was enjoying for the day.
Congratulations Kate and Stephen, we wish you nothing but the best for your future! Please enjoy this preview of your amazing wedding day!

Before the wedding the fun was starting off at The Double Tree Orlando Downtown. Krystin had her hair and makeup done by Amy Lynn Bass. While I was there I took some photos of her accessories and dress.
Shortly after we all headed over to the Science Center where Courtney and I split off. She attended the guys and all their super hero glory while I stayed with the girls. Krystin got into her dress by David’s Bridal and had beautiful flowers by Pine and Petal Weddings. We began taking photos of her with her bridal party and then had her dad come in to see her. Courtney was outside with the gentlemen taking photos of them and all their superhero props. Eric was rocking his Captain America shield, his suit from Men’s Wearhouse and looked like he was ready for a challenge! Luckily no real challenges came up except for maybe a faceoff with Iron Man. (No superhero was hurt during the making of this wedding.)
The ceremony took place in the Our Planet exhibit. They said their I do’s and had their first kiss as husband and wife while a full moon lit up behind them. It was a fun and unique way to start the journey. The reception took place next door in the DinoDigs exhibit. Surrounded by dinosaurs, friends and family they shared their first dance DJ’d by Emily from Our DJ Rocks. After the first dance Krystin had her dance with her dad and Eric danced with his mother right after.DINNER TIME!! Wait… I take that back. BREAKFAST TIME!! Yes, they chose to have breakfast food for dinner and it was delicious! Millenia Catering had some amazing food. Krystin told me many times how excited she was for the bacon!
After lots of dancing and after cutting their cake from Patty Ames of Cake Designers, I snuck Eric and Krystin out for a bit to take some fun photos in the elevator located at the center of the Science Center. When we finished there, Courtney and I went off and took some epic photos with their rings.
The rest of the night was full of smiles, laughs and a lot of dancing. But we made sure to end it with a fun photo in front of the mighty T-rex!

We then headed upstairs to make sure the guys were getting ready. After a few pre-game photos, we went downstairs for portraits of the guys, and as you can see we didn't take it too serious. :) Once Terryl was ready to put on her dress we put Mike and his guys away and headed to her room. I love the candid photos that can be captured during this moment. Once she was in her dress from Lilly's Bridal we set up a first look with her Dad, just outside of their getting ready room. From here we needed to get Terryl put away before guests arrived so we headed over to the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne and grabbed some awesome bridal portraits along the way.
The ceremony was held in the courtyard. This space offers such an intimate feel while still providing room for many guests. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Bill Barnes who did a great job in celebrating and uniting the love these two share. After the couple said "I do" we went through the family portraits they requested and then used the rest of the cocktail hour for wedding party photos and portraits of just the new couple.
The reception started with the new couple being introduced, then went into their first dance followed by toasts, cake cutting, dances with the parents and a bouquet toss. As the night came to a close, all of the newlyweds friends and family lined up to send them off with cheers and applause. It was at this point that the fire alarm somehow went off, nothing was wrong but since we had a fire truck there, we decided to use it for a few photos :)
Congratulations Terryl and Mike we wish you nothing but happiness and thank you again for choosing Patrick Buckley Images!
]]>Isola Farms is a beautiful venue surrounded by farm land and trees. Upon arriving, my 2nd shooter Courtney and I met up with Ashly. We went out front and started her detail photos and made sure to showcase Ashly’s sparkly cowgirl boots. They were a big highlight for the bridal party.
While Ashly got her make up done by her Maid of Honor Les and her hair done by The Lab of Clermont, I made my way around the venue and took some photos of the different locations where the ceremony and reception would be taking place. During this time her florist from Kim E's Flowers brought over her bouquet and other flower arrangements for the day.
Shortly after we had Ashly get into her dress from Lilys Bridal. The excitement in the room really hit at this moment.
Courtney met up with Jeff and his groomsmen before the ceremony and got some photos of them hanging out. While Courtney was downstairs with them I brought Ashly’s dad Wayne up to see his beautiful daughter. It was an emotional first look between father and daughter.
The ceremony began and they chose to do a sand ceremony between the 2 of them as well as Jeff’s daughter Emma. Once the sand was mixed Ashly and Jeff shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
After getting photos of the groom and bride we made our way to the reception where Our DJ Rocks was getting ready to introduce the bridal party. After introductions they were able to share their first dance. After their dance Ashly had her dance with her father. And lastly Jeff had a dance with his daughter Emma.
DINNER TIME!! A delicious dinner was catered by Uncle Kenny’s BBQ of Clermont. From the looks of it, everyone was really happy with the food.
The cake and cupcakes were baked by Ann Olivia’s Sweet Shop & Bakery and everyone couldn’t wait to dig in. So, we went ahead and did the cake cutting so we could help everyone’s sweet tooth out.
After some cake and some dancing Ashly and Jeff played the shoe game where everyone got to learn a little more about this fun married couple. It was a fun time and they may have even learned a little more about each other as well.
Last but not least, they ended the night with a sparkler exit surrounded by their friends and family.
]]>
The ceremony was a beautiful sunny spot surrounded by tropical plants. I just loved how the sun light shone through the fabric that was hung over the wooden arch. Once the ceremony concluded we jumped right into family portraits before focusing back on the bride and groom and their wedding party. The combination of sunlight, colors and this group of people just worked so perfectly that the photos didn't need any editing. Once we were done with some fun group photos, I quickly took advantage of all the lush greenery and the train tracks out back to create some stunning portraits of the bride and groom.
The reception was held in the barn, a medium sized venue decorated with traditional rustic barn decor but accented by elegant chandeliers hanging overhead. The couple made a grand entrance through the barn doors and went right into their first dance. The maid of honor and best man gave heartfelt speeches, the couple danced with their parents, cut the cake and tossed the bouquet and garter to their friends. They also played the shoe game, that resulted in a lot of laughs. The couple set up a smore's station outside and that was a big hit. As the night drew to a close we snuck out for a few quick night portraits before the couple shared one last dance all alone in the barn. As they enjoyed this private moment their coordinator Lori from Grand Events by Lori was setting by all their guests for a beautiful sparkler exit. It was such a joy to get to know this couple and I'm so excited to share this preview of their wedding day with everyone. Congratulations Erika & Danny, we wish you nothing but the best for your future!!
I started the day off meeting the girls at their hotel room in the Grand Bohemian downtown. They were just finishing hair and makeup so I quickly grabbed some photos of the finishing touches. Then I hung up the dresses and grabbed photos of all the special details Sam had laid out for her big day. Once those were done I took advantage of the natural light and unique elements the room had to offer to grab portraits of all the girls together. The hotel being only one block from the venue Sam had told me that her and her girls would walk there, using this opportunity I had the bridal party carry Sam's dress behind her as they walked down the street and I just love how the photo turned out. We took a few more fun photos as we walked to the venue, while we were doing all this Jonathan was about 15 minutes away with the guys at David's house. While he was there he captured all of David's wedding day details while also capturing the fun and excitement of the celebration that had already begun.
Once everyone was safely put away at the venue so the bride and groom didn't see each other, we took Sam's dress and grabbed some really stunning photos of it by itself before she put it on. Once she was dressed we captured the reveal to her bridesmaids, it was unanimous she looked stunning. At this point we went downstairs to grab details of the ceremony and reception and prepare for the entrances.
I love when couples get married on the stairs in Orchid Garden it makes for such a unique perspective for the guests. Once all the formalities were out of the way and the couple shared their first kiss, we moved right into family photos inside the venue while all the other guests went out to the court yard for the cocktail hour. Excited to use the gorgeous character this venue offers we quickly finished the family photos and went off with the whole wedding party to grab some group photos before just focusing on Sam & David. Everyone took direction so well and we were able to get a large variety of photos in a very short time. If you asked me to pick a favorite photo from this time I could only name about 6, it seemed like every photo was more incredible than the one before it so it was hard to stop but it was time for the reception so we went and set up for introductions and their first dance. It was a beautiful reception and a Jim from Fyer Fly Productions kept the party going and the dance floor full all night. And in my tradition after all the dances, cake cutting, speeches and bouquet toss I snuck outside with the couple for a few quick night shots. These turned out so good I'm sure you will see them all over my promo stuff 🙂
After we went back in the couple finished celebrating with all their friends and family and shared their last dance before exiting to what is now my favorite type of exit, Pizza and sparklers!! lol Thank you Sam and David for hiring Patrick Buckley Images to capture your magical wedding day we can't wait to see what the future has in store for you both!!

Once Gwendi was dressed we set her up in the front hall of her room to do a first look with her Dad, it was a remarkably sweet moment and you could see her dad was beyond proud of his daughter. After that we utilized a corner just outside of the bridal suite to set up a first touch with her and Drew. It's always sweet to see the excitment and anticipation this moment brings, the big smiles and the happy tears. When they finished the first touch Jonathan took Drew and his wedding party down to the lobby for portraits while I worked with the uniqueness of the room to get some stunning portraits of Gwendi in her dress. We stopped in the lobby to grab a few more photos of Gwendi and her girls before they jumped in a limo and it was off to the ceremony.
The ceremony took place at Holy Cross Catholic Church a large church decorated with beautiful stain glass windows. We loved that they had a balcony section so we were able to get a unique perspective on the ceremony. Once the service was over and they shared their first kiss as husband and wife we headed out front for family portraits and we took just a few minutes to get photos of the bride and groom as the sun filtered beautifully down through the trees. We didn't want to take to much time at the church because we wanted to take full advantage of all the great spots the venue had to offer.
The reception was held at the Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club, which is a beautiful 2 story club house with a ton of character surrounded by a lake, golf greens and even a tree lined road way, what else could you ask for? As soon as we arrived we wrangled all 18 members of their wedding party so we could get a few bridal party photos. Once we accomplished that we used the rest of the cocktail hour to get as many photos in as many locations as we could and you can see below I think we accomplished that :). The reception got off to a jump start complete with a back flipping bridesmaid and full on dirty dancing lifts and then after the first dance literally everyone was on the dance floor! we knew we were in for a fun night and a ton of great candid photos. They had speeches form the maid of honor and best man as well as both Dads. They also did a father daughter dance and a mother son dance before cutting the cake. As is becoming our tradition we snuck the couple outside after dark to grab a few night shots. I love how magical and unique photos are at night it brings a whole new perspective to the venue or location. The dance floor never cooled off and was full of people right up to the last dance. Gwendi and Drew then made a grand exit through sparklers as their friends and family celebrated the new couple.
Thank you to Gwendi and Drew for having us there to capture and celebrate your wedding day with you, we had a blast and hope you'll enjoy this preview while we get to work on the rest of your photos :)
]]>The sky looked perfect as we pulled up to Tuscawilla Country Club. Courtney and I met up with Elba in her bridal suite (Shout out to Tiffany Danielle for providing the lovely hair and makeup!) We chatted about her big day and she expressed her excitement. Shortly after we headed down to meet with the groom, Javi, who was equally as excited. Their love for each other was obvious and I was honored to be the one to capture their day.
While the bridal party continued to get ready, I took the opportunity to take some detail shots of Elba’s wedding dress and the accessories that went along with it. Courtney went to photograph the groom and his closest friends and family. Once Elba put on her dress provided by The Bridal Gallery Orlando, she instantly lit up the room and the reality of the day began to set in. After Elba and Javi were ready, they wanted to capture that perfect moment of when they saw each other for the first time before tying the knot. A terrace right outside the reception area was the perfect spot for that moment to happen.
The ceremony took place in a secluded outside area near the golf course with a stunning view of the sunset behind them. Flowers by Oviedo Florist provided some finishing touches to the already beautiful location. The bride and groom exchanged their wedding vows and there was not a dry eye as far as I could tell.
During the cocktail hour the guests had the opportunity to get some hors d’oeuvres and some fun shots in the photo booth. We took family photos near the ceremony area which led into the start of the reception.
The reception was a great time! Thanks to Party Starters for providing the tunes and to Tuscawilla Country Club for the catering. The couple shared their first dance and both the bride and groom shared a dance with their parents. Party Starters had everyone go out to the dance floor which was the perfect opportunity for me to take a group photo from above. That was when the dancing began and the party really got started. The 3 tier Publix Bakery cake was absolutely delicious and was followed by the bouquet and garter toss.
The rest of the evening was filled with lots of laughter, dancing and joy. Elba and Javi’s love for one another was very apparent and I’m very happy for them to begin the rest of their lives as husband and wife.
]]>It was a beautiful afternoon at the Mission Inn where both women got ready. I met Ida upstairs in the presidente room where we grabbed a few portraits of her, using the natural light that ethe large windows let in. After a few photos there I headed over to the marina to meet with Tina. Taking advantage of the incredible sunlight coming through the trees, we took a few portraits before getting ready for the ceremony. The ceremony was outside just in front of the giant cypress trees that anchor the edge of the lake. They had a friend officiate and with the exchanging of rings and saying "I do", they were pronounced Wife and Wife.
Right after the ceremony we grabbed a few quick family photos and then wandered off for my favorite part, cocktail hour photos! I love that Tina & Ida never take themselves too seriously and it certainly shows in the photos. :) As we were nearing the end of the cocktail hour we were greeted with a gorgeous sunset, which we took full advantage of.
The reception was fun with lots of laughter and dancing. They had their first dance, a couple of heartfelt speeches and smashed cake in each others face. After that I brought them outside for a quick wedding photo under the stars. I really love doing photos at night with my couples and this one may be my new favorite. As the night came to a close, the guests lined up outside to celebrate the couple one last time with a sparkler exit.
Thank you so much Tina & Ida for allowing me to capture your wedding day. It was an honor and I wish you nothing but the best going forward!!
]]>We started at the historic Dr. Phillips house in downtown Orlando, where Max and his wedding party got ready down in the basement ( They have a basement... so cool, I'm a Florida boy lol) And Stacey and her wedding party had one of the large rooms on the second floor. The staff was kind enough to open up the round room on the top floor so that we could hang the dress and get some great detail photos up there.
The amount of love in the air that day was remarkable and there were so many happy tears that even I couldn't keep it together. It was wonderful to watch the couple stare into each others eyes as they expressed their hand written vows. I don't think they stopped smiling at each other once the entire time.
After the couple said I do, we captured a few family portraits before using the historic mansion as a backdrop for some stunning wedding portraits. Stacey and Max were so comfortable in front of the camera that we were able to grab photos in a variety of locations. The reception was held indoors while the back porch and patio area were utilized as dance floors. Their first dance was sweet and romantic, the speeches were heartfelt and funny and everyone tore it up on the dance floor. before the night was over we were able to grab a few night portraits using the gazebo they stood under for the ceremony, I love how romantic the photo feels of just the couple together at night. Once the night was over all the guest lined up in front of the venue and said goodbye to Stacey and Max with a sparkler send off.
Thank you Stacey and Max for allowing me to capture the magic of your wedding day, I wish you all the best as you start this new journey together :)
]]>To start the day my associate Jonathan met with Pete and his wedding party in the grooms room. Where he captured some fun candid photos of them getting ready and joking around. He then took the group outside for some portraits before the ceremony.
While Jonathan did that I met with Michelle in her bridal suite, where we started by taking photos of her dress around the venue. Then I captured candids of her hair and makeup team making her look perfect for her big day. Shout out to Mosaic Hair Studio. When they were done we grabbed a few photos of her and her bridal party before everyone started to get show ready. Once Michelle was dressed we set up a sweet moment where she did a first look with her son, it was so cute. After that we arranged a 1st touch with her soon to be husband, and the kids couldn't resist peaking around the corner to see what that moment was all about.
The ceremony took place outside under a perfectly decorated pergola thanks to Edgewood Flowers. The venue also set up 2 doors at the end of the isle that made for a great reveal entrance when Michelle first appeared to her guests and Pete. The couple shared their vows, said I do and Pete broke a glass before they strolled back down the isle as husband and wife.
During the cocktail hour we used the stunning backdrops the historic building provided to capture some fantastic portraits of the couple and their wedding party. I have to say my favorites were from inside the restored school room, such a unique location
The reception was a blast as the Bay kings band kept the party going strong all night long. The couple shared their 1st dance, the best man and maid of honor gave wonderful and heartfelt speeches, they cut the cake and they were hosted up in chairs as all the guests danced around, I know Pete was very excited about that part. Before the reception was over we snuck the couple out for a few last portraits at night because the only thing cooler than a restored historic school house is one at night :)
The couple ended the night with a private dance all alone in the reception before saying goodbye to their guests with a sparkler exit. It is clearly obvious how much this couple loves each other and we are so honored to have been there to capture their wedding day. Thank you Michelle and Pete for having us we wish you all the best!!
]]>The ceremony took place on a deck overlooking the lake, it was perfect as the sun began to slowly make its way towards the tree tops across the lake. The lake was perfectly still as the couple said "I do" and shared their 1st kiss as husband and wife. We used the last bit of natural light to grab family portraits and photos of the wedding party before dusk settled in and we brought out our lighting for some dramatic night shots.
The reception took place under a large covered outdoor area which was perfectly decorated with curtains and string lights hung from the ceiling. The couple also hired a Brazilian Steak House to do the catering. It was both entertaining and mouth watering to watch them prepare the food. We captured candids as they celebrated and danced the night away with their friends and families. And when the party was over the couple shared one dance all by themselves on the dance floor before everyone lit up sparklers and wished them the best on their new journey as husband and wife.
]]>Abby started her day at a friend’s house where her and her bridal party got ready for the wedding. Abby wanted to have a first look with her bridesmaids. As her makeup and hair were almost done, we made sure the other girls didn’t see her until her reveal to her girls. It was as sweet as it sounds. After that, we headed over to the zoo where Brady and his groomsmen had just finished up taking their groomsmen photos with my associate Tammy. Some of the highlights of getting married at the zoo include random animal sightings, my personal favorite, a llama wearing a bowtie.
Their ceremony was outdoors under a covered awning with a backdrop of giraffes roaming around their enclosure. After the ceremony we were able to walk around the entire zoo for photos. My favorite spot was the bridge heading towards the Africa exhibits. Their reception was held indoors where Abby’s friends and family had worked to not only decorate the walls but the ceiling as well, to enhance the elegance of the room. After all the formalities and a ton of great partying, we snuck outside back into the zoo for a few more photos at night before their family and friends sent them off with a beautiful bubble exit. Congratulations Abby and Brady!

]]>Their entire wedding day took place at their Church, Metro Life Church. We started with portraits of the wedding parties not the easiest of tasks with wedding parties of 9 people each but everyone was very cooperative and followed direction perfectly. We then took a few minutes for the couple to do a first touch, I love witnessing this sweet moment between bride and groom. The ceremony was held in the main chapel where the couple said ‘I do’ in front of a wooden cross that Patrick built himself. Once the ceremony was over we headed outside for some group shots and portraits with just the newlyweds. While we were out the wedding coordinators did a great job converting the space where the ceremony was held into a reception area. It was a wonderful party full of celebration and a garter toss that ended up with the garter lost somewhere in the ceiling…. The happy couple ended the night with a sparkler exit. Congrats Alana and Patrick thank you so much for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day!

The ceremony was beautiful and the couple barely took their eyes off of each other the whole time. My favorite part was definitely their secret handshake just before their first kiss. We then took a few minutes to get photos with the entire bridal party and spent the rest of the cocktail hour capturing some posed candid’s of the amazing couple.
The reception that followed was a wonderful celebration of the newlyweds and had a party meets musical theater feel to it complete with impressive dance moves and harmonizing. The couple enjoyed their last dance of the evening before being sent off by family and friends ringing bells and cheering the couple on their new found happiness. Congrats Steven and Jessica thank you for choosing Patrick Buckley Images as your wedding photography, please enjoy this preview of your wedding.

When Jenny originally emailed me a few weeks back, she asked if I was available for a family session. She said her family was in town for a few days and they only had a small window to do a session in, also that they loved visiting Leu Gardens and wanted the session there. It was not until I contacted her the day before to confirm they were still good that she let me in on the secret. Jenny and Taylor were going to elope and had invited their families as witness. I was quite surprised as usually I am in on surprises from the beginning not to mention even for small weddings I like to plan lol. Nevertheless, I was so excited for them and honored that I could be there to capture that moment. As you can see from their wedding photos these two are very much in love and constantly making each other smile. Congratulations Jenny & Taylor we wish you nothing but the best in the future!!

So excited to share this preview of Meghan and Eric's gorgeous wedding at Orchard Ridge in Rockton, Illinois. It's always so much fun getting to explore new venues, especially when there are over 130 acres (that's a lot of potential locations lol!). It was a warm day with a few passing showers but it cleared up in time to drive around the property getting some gorgeous photos. The one of them under the willow tree next to the lake is my favorite but that might be due to the lack of willow trees in Florida. The venue is stunning, if you are looking for an elegant, romantic barn setting, this place is it. The dance floor was a hit all night but the highlight was the fun and quite impressive choreographed dance with Meghan and her dad, you can see a few photos from that below. It was another perfect wedding that I am thankful to have had the pleasure of capturing. Congratulations Meghan and Eric!

Had a blast covering Nejame Law's annual holiday party and toy drive to benefit Baby DJ! So great to see how many toys were donated.
Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!!!
